The leader of the nuclear-armed country says there is ‘no basis’ to believe US actions are ‘not hostile’ during military exhibition

The leader of nuclear-armed North Korea, Kim Jong-un, has blamed the US for tensions on the peninsula, state media has reported, calling it the “root cause” of instability.

Kim made the claim in an opening speech at a defence exhibition, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday.
